Sip and enjoy. What I also appreciate is how affordable it is. I searched and searched for a tea that tastes like the tea I get at my favorite Japanese restaurant and I was so happy to discover this brand. I have turned several friends onto it also.
In the winter I drink at least two cups a day.I can't get enough. The addition of the brown rice gives this tea a nice smokey flavor. This is my favorite tea. Regular green tea tastes a little bitter to me.
Unfortunately, Yamamotoyama Genmai Cha is just adequate. I was recently introduced to Genmai cha by a friend who's husband works for a company that does business with Japan. Wish me luck in my search. I am still on my quest to find that same delicate flavor I found in those tea bags my friend gave me. I was at once intrigued and desirous to purchase more of the same. However, I am still unable to find a similar tea with the same delicate taste.
It is especially pleasant on a cool or stormy day. I love this tea. I can drink it all day long, and I find it very comforting and satisfying.
